Happy Thursday! Well this is a darling Ian from The Greeting Farm called Batter Ian. He's Batter Ian at the Greeting Farm, but he's Batter Teagan in my eyes. All this little batter needs is a pair of adorable dimples and he'll look exactly like my baby Teagan! I guess this little guy is a special stamp to me since the twins started baseball recently. Jordyn is naturally athletic but extremely clumsy at the same time. I'm not sure how it's possible to be athletic and clumsy at the same time, but this is the special trait inherited from her daddy. Teagan, on the other hand, is not as athletic but he is very agile and aware of his body. I've always been busy with sports throughout my life; I was never the most athletic but I could usually manage to do most physical activities without getting hurt or making a total fool of myself, hence, my gift to Teagan. As for my oldest, well, let's just say he was in the bathroom when God was passing out athleticism. However, Nick was present for clumsy AND he was FIRST in line with the scarecrow for a big, big heart. It just makes me realize how much physical attributes and athleticism are empty assets without humility or sense of team. It is truly amazing how all three children can be so different.

She's a cutie-patootie right?!!! I love how her shirt came out; I was going for the tie-dye effect. All I did was use my Copic palette technique of picking up color with another pen of a lighter color and make small circles. When I'm done I use my colorless blender and went over her shirt to soften it. Anyhoo, the end result is a card that exudes Peace, Love, and Happiness, all of which I wish for you! Mahalo for stopping by. By the way, I haven't forgotten about the Copic tutorial. I'm still working on it!
And a special shout out to Katie Cotton of Paper Make-Up AND Paper Make-Up Stamps. (I just visited Katie's site a few days ago and it was beautiful and amazing. Her work is gorgeous and her Copic skillz is out of this world. Did I mention that she has a brand new store!!!! The stamps are whimsical and fairy-tale like; it would be like Monster's Inc meets Belle. Just go to her store and you'll see what I mean. Adorable and fun! You'll laugh and want to give up your plastic for her rubbah! If you get a chance please visit Katie and her cute NEW store!!!) Thank you so much for your very detailed explanation of how to apply false lashes. I especially love the double application of adhesive trick. Now I just have to learn to stick them on without getting the adhesive everywhere. Open question: What is better, clear or tinted adhesive glue? And any particular brand you girls or guys use? I'm using the black tinted one and it gets all over my shadow when I'm trying to apply the lash. I work from one corner to the other, but as I work on one side the opposite side is flapping all over my lid. Alright, I could go on and on. Help!

I love the tie-dyed shirt. Do you use a set of Ciaos or do you get them individually.

oh, i forgot to mention the adhesive! I tend to stick to the clear. Yes it looks white when you apply it, but it dried clear (just like white glue!) and you're right, if some does get somewhere else, you dont see it. You might want to invest in a cream eyeliner or even a cake eyeliner (think of a dry cake like watercolors that you add water or eyeliner sealant to) and then that really helps mask the line from the false lashes. :) Email me about it anytime girl!
