Cookies, Cookies, & More Cookies

Happy Saturday!  I hope your weekend is going well.  Well, as promised, I have my last two cards from the All That Scraps February release to share with all of you.  Both of these cards use two stamp sets on each card:  Cookie Crumbs Cookie Jar and Cookie Crumbs Cookie Jar-gon.  

For this first card I wanted to do something fun, colorful, and different.  I decided to punch circles of the designer series paper and line them up as a background.  The 1 3/8 inch circle punch fits three rows of four circles perfectly when using a standard 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 card.  I also alternated the depth of the circles.  The green row is glued directly to the Kraft cardstock, and the orange and pomegranate are elevated with pop dots.  I just thought it would add a little more dimension and interest.

Here's my second card.  For the design on this card I used a Friday Sketch # 51 by Amy R.  I really like Amy's sketches.  They usually always incorporate enough room for a nice sized stamp.  There is no time limit as to when you can use this sketch, however, if you want to be included in Amy's round up there is a deadline.  You can check out all the deets if you click the like that says Friday Sketch #51 and it will take you directly to her post.  

I used a monochromatic palette for this card since it's theme is cookies.  What's better than brown for cookies?!  There were so many cookies to choose from in the set, so it took me longer than usual to select my stamps.  Fun stress!

Two TGF Fashionistas!

Happy Friday!  What a wild week this has been for our family but I anticipate things will settle down during the weekend!  Anyhoo, this will be a short post because I'm exhausted.  So today I'm sharing with you my final two cards using the February releases from The Greeting Farm.    

This cutie is from the set Pupstar!  There's not much you can say about this little chubbie is there?  It's pretty self explanatory if you ask me.  He's screaming, "Squeeze my cheeks!"  Okay!!!  "Love me"  Okay!!!

This grown-up Anya is from the Miss Anya Collection.  This little fashionista is rocking a stripe, fitted top and some HOT leather boots.  Her beautiful long locks are kept youthful with her loose pigtails and finished with a thick headband.  She is ready for a night out on the town with one of the Jonas Brothers!!!

Mushroom Friends Sneak Peak

Happy Thursday.  Today I have two new releases to share with you from two different companies so be sure to scroll down to see my second post for the day.  

This first sneak peak is from All That Scraps.  This set is called Mushroom friends.  I love cartoon mushrooms; I think they are so cute and sweet.  When I see cartoon mushrooms I am often reminded of a scene in the original Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.  It's the scene where the winners first enter the giant edible garden.  I love the part where the lady sticks her hand in one of the polka dots on the mushroom and it's a thick and white pudding-like candy.  Yummmmm.

Spring Pajamas!!!

Woohoo it's about that time again.  Do you smell the faint sweet scent of spring in the air?  Or is it the sweet smell of hot off the press stamps?  Either way get ready for some ultra cute spring TCP releases!!!

Rockin' Warm & Cozy Fishing

Happy Wednesday!!!  I hope your week is going well.  I don't know about ya'll but I'm more than ready for the weekend.  Why does time go by so fast yet so slow at the same time.  Monday's and Tuesday's are horribly slow and sometimes even mildly painful.  And once the clock hits 5 p.m. on Friday time just warp speeds ahead ~ and then at 7 a.m. on Monday morning every thing slows down again...  **sigh**

This first card is from The Greeting Farm.  The set is called Rock The Farm.  He's sooo cute!  I just can't get enough of Ian and Anya.  Personally, I think they ROCK all their outfits and gear!

The best thing about this set?  Warm & Cozy marries perfectly with Fun Flock.  I just did the exact same card with Red Fun Flock instead of Copics and it looks adorable; it really looks like a warm and fuzzy sweater.

Super Star!!!  The last card is also available for purchase at All That Scraps.  The set is called Rockin' Out.  My monkey is a star, no make that a "Super Star"!  He is an aspiring musician who is currently trying out for a small band called Journey.  Monkey feels like he has a legitimate shot at making the band.  His plan is to surprise them at some point with an impromptu session while they are here in Hawaii for a concert. (Tickets sold out in about 48 hours for three shows.  Unbelievable!  The popularity is tremendous here in Hawaii since the new lead singer is Filipino.  We have a very concentrated population of Filipinos here in Hawaii so it's only natural that they are beyond excited to cheer one of their own on AND in such a grand way)  Wish him luck.  Break a leg Monkey!
