Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. Our evening has been long...sitting in the ER waiting for Jordyn to be seen. She took a little spill and fell on our piano bench and split the back of her head open. She ended up with 7 stitches and according to Jordyn, "I didn't cry at all Mommy!" She's a tough cookie I'll give her that. Anyhoo, it was not bad at all, just the long waiting time. You mommies that have been in the ER know what I'm talking about. LOL.
So here's a card from All That Scraps that I overlooked and did not post. The set is called CC Designs Sugarplums Apple Emma. The sentiment is from CC Designs Presents Amy R Stamp Autumn Sentiments.
With school just starting I thought it would be nice to share a card you could give to your children's teachers or even your professors. Teachers are the motivational cheerleaders and resources for our future. They are, as we speak, molding our future presidents, physicians, lawyers, and entorpeneuars. Their pay gets cut on an annual basis. Their classroom budget slowly dwindles yearly. They are largely underpaid and, at times, under appreciated. Some little things we can do as parents to encourage and boost their morale: writing them short notes of appreciation, give them a cute card, and the cutest is when children actually bring an apple for the teacher. It is the small gestures that can have a big impact on that teachers day. So the morale of the story? Give a small gesture of thanks to one of your teachers, in return they will shape and encourage the minds of your child and OUR future.
