Sometimes I feel like my life is in a perpetual spin...It makes me dizzy, it makes me tired, it makes me a little bit crazy, however, it is amusing, it is entertaining, it defines me, and above and beyond everything, it is filled with deep and unconditional LOVE!
I'm a full-time nephrology nurse in the day and a full-time graduate student by night. I'm studying to become a nurse practitioner and I plan to continue in nephrology for many years to come.
My "real" job begins after work, after school, when I step through the door of my home. I have to muster up every ounce of energy there is in my body to keep up and play with my children. I continue to grow and mature as a parent learning to raise a set of toddler twins and a tween.
But through it all I have learned that investing some time into the hobbies and interests that I love helps me keep my sanity! (Although I do feel, quite often, that I HAVE lost my mind). So I decided to pick up my glue and X-acto knife once again after a long hiatus. It feels good to use the right side of my brain again!
I have decided that this blog will be an excellent vehicle to express my thoughts and share my creations with whomever so chooses to invest the time. So on that note... Let's kick off Kiyomi's Krafts!!!
